One Year of Respiratory Acute Care Experience Required
Elevated Pay Rate + applicable shift differentials
Seasonal Program Commitment: Seasonal employees are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period with 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule
·For the purposes of this policy, current employees of St. David’s HealthCare and active or former HWS employees who have worked with HWS in the prior 3 months are not eligible for the Seasonal Plan.
·All seasonal employees are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.
·Actual hours scheduled and worked are dependent upon census and hospital staffing needs.
·Seasonal plan position is not eligible to participate in hospital benefit programs (i.e. Health and Group plans, Paid Time Off, 401K program, etc.)
·Regardless of start date, seasonal program/assignment ends on March 31, 2025.

We are seeking a(an) Seasonal Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. The Respiratory Therapist coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. As a vital part of the patient care team, the Respiratory Therapist performs a variety of diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures and monitors patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
You will perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure. You will conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.
You will administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
You will initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
