Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Collision Center (Hoover)Location: 1624 Montgomery Highway, Hoover, Alabama 35216 We are looking for a skilled and experienced mechanic to take apart, diagnose, and repair/reassemble vehicles at our busy collision center. Efficiency and high-level of skill with mechanical and electrical concerns is a must. Our shop is climate controlled with all the best equipment to allow you to efficiently make the hours you are capable of and the income you deserve. Identifies necessary vehicle mechanical repairs
Performs vehicle mechanical repairs
Documents services performed.
Performs services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines.
Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines.
Requests necessary parts.
Participates in required training
Complies with Company policies and procedures
Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.

Field of Study/Work Experience:
Automotive
o Information Technology
Desired Work Experience:
Thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems. Demonstrable mechanical skills and knowledge. Technical training or commensurate technical experience required.
Computer Skills:
Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system. Ability to learn parts department computer inventory and ordering system.
Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
Duties are performed primarily in the service area. Work includes movement around vehicles, working in various physical positions, and the safe operation of power tools and test equipment. May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service and repair conditions. Frequently interacts with customers, service advisors and the service manager.
