Private Wealth Management (PWM)

Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management (PWM) specializes in creating comprehensive wealth management plans for high net worth individuals and families, as well as select institutions, including foundations and endowments. PWM Teams work one-on-one with clients to advise and deliver customized strategies drawn from our deep investment experience, diverse wealth management capabilities and global reach. Our Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) deliver an unparalleled investment platform inclusive of the full product and service offerings of Goldman Sachs and beyond, which may include tax and estate planning, philanthropic planning and private banking and lending services. Goldman Sachs Private Bank

Goldman Sachs Private Bank provides competitive borrowing and cash management solutions from Goldman Sachs Bank USA that are strategically integrated with our clients wealth management goals. Our experienced team partners with PWAs to advise clients on new loans, refinancing and restructuring of existing loans along with overall liability management. Our lenders and mortgage specialists provide a wide range of creative borrowing solutions against asset classes ranging from marketable securities and alternative investments, residential and commercial real estate to more tailored solutions against private assets such as aviation, fine art or vineyards. A member of this team will be an employee of Goldman Sachs Bank, USA.

The Mortgage Systems and Product Support role will be responsible for administration of the GS Mortgage Loan Origination System, vendor configurations and related tools. This individual will be responsible for the departmental efforts in ensuring that processes and procedures are developed and followed primarily with regards to testing, configuration, and production support. The Mortgage Systems Product Owner will identify and resolve system problems and efficiency adds in a timely manner to meet service levels and standards set by the business unit, including engagements with vendors. In addition, the candidate will conduct tests of custom configuration or coding changes or changes to processes and procedures before deployment into the production environment. He/She will also assist with all testing strategies, process and implementation and will work with internal GS teams around ingesting LOS extracts and reports .

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• Follows escalation procedures, when appropriate, to resolve processing issues and user problems in a timely manner to meet service levels and other standards for the job
• Utilizes manuals, write-ups and other tools as an aid in solving the issue
• Collaborates with others who are experienced in the area for issue resolution
• Coordinates the testing of applications, systems, processes and procedures, and/or software changes
• Analyzes and implements configuration changes or additions to software systems and operations procedures
• Creates metrics and tracking to identify and achieve business objectives
• Trains internal customers (employees) on changes, new functionality or new procedures
• May identify new tools, technology, or processes that improve the overall client experience, user environment or processing efficiency
• Assists in the definition of user problems and needs and translates that over to the LOS vendor for coding
• Coordinate NPWA and BDP training and development programs for both full-time and summer employees
• Completes project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations
• Participates in industry forums to stay on the cutting edge of LOS technology
• Performs other related duties as assigned

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WERE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelors Degree required with preference in Data Science, Computer Science or Engineering disciplines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources
• Excellent problem-solving, team, and time management skills
• Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas
• Knowledge of Mortgage LOS platforms preferred but not required
• Knowledge of Mortgage origination flows preferred but not required
• Experience with front-end development libraries such as React.JS or Angular
• Experience with Java, .Net, common APIs and design patterns
• Experience with AWS
• System administration experience preferred but not required
