VCA Veterinary Emergency Service & Veterinary Specialty Center is expanding its Surgery Service and is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join the surgery team
Day To Day Of Our Surgery Technicians:
Our Surgery Technicians are exposed to diverse and stimulating anesthesia cases. Our board-certified surgeons perform intricate surgeries in the chest or abdomen, complex fractures, repair torn ligaments, remove cancerous growths, manage extensive non-healing wounds, reconstructive and neurologic surgeries. The Surgery Service uses the most advanced imaging, monitoring tools and tap into the expertise of our specialists.
Surgical preparation and assisting in surgery
Anesthesia monitoring
Schedule: Full-Time, four 10-hour weekdays.
Requirements for the Surgery Technician Role:
State credentials/license (CVT, LVT, RVT) or internship trained
