Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) team at a leading hospital in Beverly, MA. This role offers the opportunity to provide care to a diverse patient population in a well-established healthcare setting known for delivering high-quality patient outcomes. As part of the day shift , you'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, using advanced technology and practices to ensure excellent patient care.

This 13-week contract offers a rewarding opportunity to enhance your Med-Surg expertise while working in a supportive environment with state-of-the-art resources. You’ll be expected to manage a variety of cases, including post-surgical and chronically ill patients, with a focus on recovery and discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Med-Surg unit
  2. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs
  3. Administer medications, IVs, and treatments while closely monitoring patient responses
  4. Communicate with physicians, healthcare team members, and patients' families regarding care plans
  5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress
  6. Utilize evidence-based practices to optimize patient recovery and safety
Qualifications
  1. Active RN license in Massachusetts
  2. BLS certification required
  3. Minimum of 1-2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience
  4. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills
  5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting
