As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Electrophysiology Laboratory, you’ll blend the duties of an OR/procedural nurse and a floor nurse. The Electrophysiology Lab specializes in the treatment of patients with cardiac rhythm disorders. Our RNs work closely with physicians and the anesthesia team to care for all patients. We use cutting edge technology, including a new hybrid operating room to accommodate the intricate cases we see.  

 
A caregiv er in this position works 7:00AM – 5: 00 PM. No on-call, weekend and holiday requirements 

 
Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services to hospitalized patients in a variety of healthcare settings.   

~ Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings in patient records and notify physicians of abnormal findings.  

~ Perform telephone triage and call rotations.  

~ Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications.  

~ Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families and the health care team.  

~ Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs and facilitate discharge planning.  

~ Evaluate, initiate and maintain standards of care.  

~ Cover other nursing roles in the department.  


Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
