Home Health Aides and those who are thinking about it Join us on the water at Adams Inn in Quincy on Tuesday June 25th anytime between 2-6:30 to meet with hiring managers for on the spot interviews Home Health Aides provide care to our patients in their homes. All shifts available Responsible for direct patient care which is determined, observed, supervised and documented on plan of care by a professional clinical provider.
Performs routine household tasks as related for a safe, healthy and comfortable environment for the patient, as instructed and documented on plan of care by the professional clinical provider.
Documents patient status and care given, as reflected on required records. Works as part of the Home Health Care Team participating in and identifying ways to improve the quality of care being provided to the patient. Safety Awareness – Fosters a “Culture of Safety” through personal ownership and commitment to a safe environment. Complies with current hand hygiene and infection control guidelines.
Telemonitoring- Works with the Telehealth manager and HHA scheduler to assist with installation and removal of telemonitoring equipment in the patients home. Instructs patient/family in proper use of telemonitoring equipment.
Good communication skills, which includes ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language effectively. Demonstrates satisfactory compliance with State and Federal Requirements for Home Health Aide/HCA III competency Must demonstrate maturity and ability to deal effectively with issues related to delivery of services. Certified Nursing Assistant "OR" Home Health Aide (HHA) Certification "OR" Eligible for Home Health Aide Certification
Monday through Friday 8-430 1 Sunday every 1-2 months and 1-2 holidays per year (Rotating)
