Life Cycle Engineering (LCE)* is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. We’re an employee-focused team collaborating across departments, including Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Supply Chain, Operations, Test & Integration and Production.
Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) and Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) Engineer* your responsibilities will involve all aspects of RAM / FRACAS activity within the business unit including:.
* Conducting Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analyses, including *Sneak Circuit Analyses*.
* Performing Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analyses (FMECA)
* Interpreting data and analyzing results
* Assessing RAM performance: Performing Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
* Performing FRACAS tasks, including trend analysis and failure investigations
* Supporting Reliability Test Planning and Execution: Accelerated, Growth, Demonstration
* Ensuring performance compliance to requirements
* Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance
*Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant Reliability Engineering experience or equivalent. An advanced degree may account for additional years of experience as required for this position.
* Experience with reliability analysis, failure investigations, and/or root cause/corrective action (RCCA)
* Experience gathering, analyzing and/or presenting data
* S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
*Experience with Reliability Engineering Concepts
* Electrical Engineering or Sneak Circuit Analysis experience
* Electrical Engineering degree / education preferred
* Knowledge of FMECA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
* Functional Knowledge of statistics or using statistical packages for data analysis (e.g. Excel)
* Experience with technical document and report generation
