As part of PruittHealth's (PH) top initiatives, a new division of Personal Care Services (PCS), PH Family First is seeking CNAs for private duty throughout the metro Atlanta market.
Provide optimal comfort care, dignity and privacy for the patient
* Follow procedures for handling medical emergencies or other incidents that affect the delivery of services
* Provide comfort care, companion, shopping/errands, meal prepping and related tasks, housekeeping, appointment scheduling, medication reminders services
* Provide personal hygiene to patient(s), including bathing, shaving, oral hygiene, skin care, dressing, toileting, and hair care
* Coordinate care with agency RN Supervisor
* Attend team meetings and staff development in-services and trainings
* Respond to change productively, and handle additional projects as assigned
* Participate in agency surveys and any subsequently required reports
* Attend and participate in continuing educational programs to keep abreast of changes in the field
* Honor patient's rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property and civil rights, including the right to wage complaints
* Follow established safety regulations, including fire protection and prevention, smoking regulations, infection control, etc
* Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment
* Ability to use Matrix Care documenting system, after receiving training
Certificate of completion of state recognized Home Care Aide training program and supervised clinical practice
One (1) year of experience working with adults in a healthcare setting
Current registration in State Nurse Aide Registry as a Certified Nurse Aide
* Personal Care Services experience is desirable
