As you, a Facility Assistant III at Spectrum, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day facility operations of one or more locations. Your responsibilities will include performing various support assignments to ensure the smooth functioning of the building. You will be responsible for managing the Workplace Experience of the facility and should possess a general understanding of the tasks associated with a corporate facility. WHAT OUR FACILITY ASSISTANTS III ENJOY MOST
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience Serving as a mentor, providing oversight in training, guiding, and directing FA I and II employees on projects
Maintaining the overall order and organization of the common areas throughout the facility Providing a consistent and effective level of customer service while responding to building occupants on issues
Completing daily and weekly facility-related tasks and duties such as serving as a switchboard/receptionist, mailroom clerk, clerical assistant, etc.
Maintaining the Outlook calendar for various meeting rooms on campus and assisting the Business Unit with meeting schedules and requirements
Interacting with clients to obtain meeting requirements and schedules, planning meetings, events, and activities in the meeting rooms of a Facilities-mismanaged building
Developing and distributing meeting materials to attendees before the start of meetings Monitoring the conference website for the latest events accurately
Maintaining the meeting calendar and ensuring event planning is on track
By actively participating in these responsibilities, you will contribute to simplifying processes, enhancing customer satisfaction, maintaining a well-organized environment, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.
 
You, as a member of the Facilities Department, play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the location(s). You perform various support tasks to maintain a well-functioning building. You handle general maintenance and possess knowledge of corporate facility tasks. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Proficient with computers and MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook calendar & email)
Flexible, adaptable, independent and motivated team player able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to provide quality customer service
Ability to use standard office equipment (telephone, computer, printer, scanner, copier)
Ability to work overtime as the business needs dictate
Occasional overtime required
 
Facilities support or related experience in a professional, corporate setting 4+ years
