Job Description TeamHealth has an excellent full-time opportunity for a physician leader to join our emergency department (ED) team at Regional Medical Center located in the highly desirable area of San Jose, California. In this role the facility medical director will provide clinical and administrative leadership for emergency medicine (EM) services, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior leadership experience, collaborate with TeamHealth and hospital leadership, and maintain a clinical practice and provide direct patient care in the emergency dept. In addition, the qualified candidate will be ABEM/ABOEM certified. Regional Medical Center is a 358-bed hospital, and sees an annual volume of 93,000 and 20% admission rate. EMR is Meditech and physicians see average of 2.28 patients per hour. Enjoy flexibility with a mix of 8, 9, and 10 hour shifts supported with daily APC coverage. Competitive compensation with an estimated base pay range:
- For Employees: Minimum $345,000/annually to maximum of $480,000/annually
- For Independent Contractors: Minimum $370,000/annually to maximum of $510,000/annually
- Plus a monthly director stipend and quarterly performance bonus
