Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, assess patient needs, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive care measures
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations and procedures
- Provide acute pain management interventions
- Utilize electronic medical record systems such as Epic for accurate documentation
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in SD
- Minimum 1.5 years of experience in acute care setting
- Proficient in medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation procedures
- Strong knowledge of ER, Mammography, Dementia care, Assisted living, Home care, and DME
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
