The EEG/EKG Technician works under the supervision of the Director and performs Electroencephalogram (EEG), Visual Evoked Potential (VEP), Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SEP), Electrocardiogram (EKG), Holter Monitor hook-up and scanning. Signal Averaged EKG (SAECG) and Stress Testing. The ability to relate testing knowledge and theory to EEG and EKG procedures and equipment and to interpret results and isolate the most accurate readings are essential. Able to operate various office equipment, including a computer, fax machine, printer.
Completion of EKG and EEG training courses/seminars.
