*There would also be a second Full-Time (40 Hr) Paraprofessional Opportunity. Aveanna would provide free transportation from Bala Cynwyd, PA to Coatesville, PA. This role would be for the Chester County Intermediate Unit. 
Essential Job Functions

Support students in completing assigned work
Support students in transitioning from one location or activity to another
Follow student-specific treatment, teaching, or lesson plans to support students in achieving their academic, social, and emotional goals
Support students with activities of daily living as appropriate (e.g., eating, brushing teeth, hygiene, as appropriate)
Collect data on students' academic, behavioral, and social goal.
Requirements
~ High school graduate, GED or equivalent of education and training

Additional state and/or local requirements
Background checks as stipulated by local and/or state requirements (e.g., child abuse clearance, criminal history report, etc…)
First aid and/or CPR certification as stipulated by local and/or state requirements
Registration or Certification as required by state requirements.
Ongoing continuing education hours as stipulated by local and/or state requirements
 
Other Skills/Abilities
Must be able to adhere to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries at all times
Must be able to support student(s) in using technology and adaptive devices they need to complete schoolwork, communicate, and navigate throughout the school.

Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English
Must be able to travel to/from school/work location.
