Rebecca School is seeking a Nurse for the 2024 school year to work with students age 3 to 21 with neurodevelopmental delays in relating, communicating and thinking. As a Nurse, you will play an integral role in the success of our students, with responsibility for overseeing and implementing the health program in the school. Deliver health services including medication administration and management and advocate for the health rights of children
Collect and organize annual medical forms for students and staff; Administer care for staff and student incidents; Maintain necessary medical equipment and supplies
Be available for medical emergencies
Knowledge and implementation of Department of Health rules regarding illness of children and staff
Provide in-services on relevant medical topics
Maintain professional competence by attending staff development programs and continuing education programs
Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with students, staff and parent
