Medical Radiology Technologist, G6
Offering an exciting opportunity to join our Radiology Department in an outpatient setting with responsibilities in General Diagnostic Radiology.
Under the supervision of administrator and staff, accurately reads and interprets physicians instructions.
Practices ALARA by minimizing radiation to patients and staff by collimation, patient shielding and exposure factors.
Coordinates the patient flow, reviews the images for diagnostic and technical quality.
Checks equipment for proper functioning. Follows departmental policies/procedures, HIPPA and NYSDOH requirements.
Cleans and stocks the area.
Associates Degree in Medical Radiography. License and Registration (ARRT) required. Monday-Friday 8AM to 430PM
