Medasource is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Lafayette, Indiana.
Interventional Radiology Technologist

~ Employment Type: Travel

Shift: 4x9 7:30am-5:00pm
Opportunity to grow cardiology knowledge and expertise through learning electrophysiology of the heart. Provides general patient care to cardiac catheterization patients, setting up and running equipment, and performing basic cardiac catheterization procedures. As a cardiac interventional radiographer, you’ll assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to help diagnose and treat heart and blood vessel diseases without surgery. In this challenging role, you’ll work with sophisticated fluoroscopic equipment to take images of the heart and the blood vessels surrounding it.
Requires high school graduate or equivalent.
· Requires post high school course work in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
· Additional college coursework in health care; Requires a knowledge of various cardiac catheterization procedures (over 15) and related equipment and instruments.
· Requires knowledge and operation of respiratory, EKG equipment and basic knowledge of cardiac and emergency procedures.
· Requires health care experience which involves direct patient care; Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
