RN (Registered Nurse) for PCU in the Hospital - Travel/Local Contract
Night Shift Available
12 hour shifts; Must have 2+ years of experience as a medical-surgical RN/ Charge Preferred
Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre and post-surgery patients.

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Travel Nurses to join our team. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings across different locations, providing quality care to patients. This position offers flexibility, competitive compensation, and the chance to expand your skills and knowledge in different healthcare environments.
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assess patients' conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients
- Assist with discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficient in various nursing procedures such as catheterization, tube feeding, wound care, etc.
- Experience in home care settings and familiarity with home medical equipment
- Knowledge of medical coding systems such as ICD-10
- Ability to interpret diagnostic tests such as CT scans and ophthalmology reports
- Familiarity with assisted living facilities and their specific care requirements
- Ability to work effectively in emergency room (ER) settings
