This is a stellar opportunity to lead the anesthesia team through a positive transition and gain a potential stake in partnership. Partnership track and immediate partnership opportunities available
- TRUE private practice with physician ownership and autonomy
- Incentive bonus / accelerated partnership for pediatric fellowship trained physicians; residents/fellows are welcome to apply for graduation next year
- WakeMed’s Children’s Hospital is voted as one of the top Pediatric Hospitals in the nation by Leapfrog for 2023. WakeMed’s Children’s Hospital has its own emergency department and is a Level IV Neonatal ICU. We currently have a 48 bed NICU, and 10 bed PICU. We perform anesthesia for some of the most unique children’s cases.
Truly a Master of Anesthesia role, this position includes a mix of high acuity pediatrics and some general adult cases. Case mix includes pediatric surgery, peds ortho, peds spines, peds urology, peds ENT, peds pulm, peds GI. The physician team covers all three WakeMed sites through a rotation schedule and call is rotated.
