Heavy Equipment Mechanic Shift: Day
Heavy Equipment Mechanic Pay: $27-32/hr DOE
Heavy Equipment Mechanic Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on forklifts (Hyster and Toyota), wheel end loaders and cranes.

Conduct regular maintenance checks and inspections to ensure the equipment is in safe and working condition.

Troubleshoot and repair low voltage electrical systems.

Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.

Operate equipment as needed to test for proper operation.

Perform minor building and facility maintenance.

Basic knowledge of welding and fabrication



Heavy Equipment Mechanic Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and software.

Familiarity with forklifts, wheel end loaders, and cranes; operating and repairing.

Experience repairing bailers, tie wire strappers and AC systems preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and perform repairs in various weather conditions.
