At Commonwealth Dental Clinic, we strive to provide excellent extraction and denture services to the Medicaid and self-pay community . If you're looking to make a change from general dentistry and a one year or many years experienced hygienist, we'd love an opportunity to tell you more about the position. As a hygienist with Commonwealth Dental Clinic, you will be asked to support numbing, medication reconciliation medical history intake and review only. You'll have monthly bonus potential, competitive pay, and full benefits plus a fun energetic atmosphere . There is no other dental practice quite like ours
Responsibilities:
The dental hygienist is responsible for performing licensed hygiene procedures, educating patients, and management of the nonsurgical periodontal program as directed by the dentist.
Establish and maintain continued patient care relationships.
Verify/document patient health history.
Perform clinical hygiene functions such as, numbing patients, taking and recording blood pressure.
Determine post operative needs
Qualifications:
Dental hygiene certification from accredited dental hygiene school.
Current hygiene license where employed.
Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS and infection control training as required by law.
Experience with dental software.
