Diesel Technician

* Perform necessary repairs to vehicles and equipment
* Determine needed repairs and/or replacements of vehicles and equipment
* Execute preventative maintenance programs as well as safety inspections for vehicles and equipment
* Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary
* Maintain tools, equipment, and shop area
* Adhere to Ecco Ride standards, policies, and procedures
* Prepare documentation regarding information to comply with regulatory guidelines, vehicle and equipment systems/components repairs, etc.
* Inspect vehicles using standard guidelines and ensure conformance to Louisiana Highway Patrol standards.
* Always a focus on safety
* Perform other responsibilities as requested or required _*Minimum Job Qualifications or you can title Educational/Experience Qualifications*_* 2+ years of automotive or diesel repair experience required
* Appropriate mechanic’s toolset
* ASE Certification preferred
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Valid Driver’s License; having a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred
* Basic computer skills
* Must be able to pass Pre-Job requirements including pre-employment drug screen and background check _*Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Needed*_* The ability to solve problems and comfort using tools
* Good verbal and written communication skills
