We are home to the only trauma center in New London and Windham counties, and are the only area hospital with LIFE STAR helicopter services. We deliver and coordinate a continuum of high-quality healthcare with the goal of improving the health of our communities.
Performs Nuclear Medicine diagnostic procedures in the hospital in accordance with all state and NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) regulations, and utilizing an understanding of principles of growth and development to provide the physician with diagnostic images to identify and/or plan appropriate treatment of the patient's condition. Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear radiologic studies in adherence to professional and department protocols.
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program. Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years Nuclear Tech and PET CT preferred
Licensure, Certification, Registration:
Certified Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board CNMT (NMTCB) or R.With locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
