About us: University Retirement Community is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in Davis, California. At University Retirement Community, we have fostered a workplace culture of professional and personal growth, while working in an environment where resident and employee health and happiness matter. Our facility provides services for long-term care and short-term rehabilitation residents and is Medicare certified. The average daily census is 34 with approximately 10 skilled residents. We are hiring a Resident Assessment Coordinator for our Skilled Nursing team. In this role you will ensure the accurate completion of MDS assessments and care plans as well as provide guidance to the interdisciplinary team in the delivery of a holistic person-centered, individualized and clinically competent care. Minimum of 1 year MDS Coordinator experience in a skilled nursing setting.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound judgements concerning all aspects resident care.
Understand state, federal and local regulations in relation to long term care and skilled nursing requirements.
Current and valid CPR and first aid certification.
