We are a well-established, progressive, fast-paced 4 FT doctor small animal emergency practice located in Blue Ridge, GA. We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients including in-house lab work, radiology, ultrasonography, ability to hospitalize (even in isolation and oxygen), a full surgical suite and intensive care. We are proud to be a source for emergency and after-hours care in the Blue Ridge area.
Our thriving emergency private practice is located in Blue Ridge, GA. Popular activities in the area include hiking, boating/fishing, and other nature and outdoor activities, like apple-picking in the fall and bird-watching. We are the only ER within a 2-hour radius
Open 24 hours on weekends, Mondays and holidays; See many medical cases like GI, toxicities, cardiovascular, renal, etc.
Perform emergency surgeries like GDV’s, foreign bodies, C-sections, pyometras and more.
Full Time or Part-Time Emergency DVM
Proficient in general medicine and surgery
Experience preferred but new graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply

Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
Active Veterinary State License
Ability to sit or stand and work at a computer for long periods of time.
+ Ability to be confident around animals (i.e., This position may require special working hours, including working weekends, evenings and/or holidays.
+ Must have mental capacity and processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
+ Job requires sufficient ambulatory skills in order to perform required duties while working.
+ Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate other equipment as required.
+ Hospital teammates are routinely exposed to a variety of animals that may bite, kick or scratch, and on occasion, may be exposed to anesthesia, radiation, biological or zoonotic hazards and/or medication/controlled substances.
