We are seeking a(an) RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator Senior Adult for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. As a clinical nurse coordinator you will serve as the eyes and ears for the nurse manager on a given shift. You will make rounds on patients and staff, leads by example, and serves as a liaison between the unit and other hospital departments. You will assume responsibility for direction and coordination of all functions during the designated shift.
You will function as a resource person for staff members and assist in necessary education of individual members of the nursing staff.
You will assume responsibility for the overall quality of nursing care provided when on duty
You will make decisions regarding activities with these areas based on Administrative Operational Standards, Nursing Administrative Standards, Human Resource Standards, and Standards of Care for the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Two (2) years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of his/her unit and leadership/ management experience is preferred.
Research Medical Center is a 585+ bed hospital. Our hospital offers an array of medical and health clinic services. This includes women's services offering obstetrics and fertility, an emergency room, and a trauma center. We offer a Stroke Center, a walk-in clinic, and orthopedics across three Kansas City locations. Research Psychiatric Center is a 95+ bed facility. We offer acute inpatient, day treatment, and community-based outpatient behavioral healthcare.
