Summary We are now hiring a Surgical Tech III for our CVOR at Healthpark Medical Center here in Fort Myers Experience with heart surgery is a plus Must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program. 8 hours shifts with some call required.Shipley Cardiothoracic Center takes a revolutionary approach to improving healthcare in Southwest Florida. The Surgical Technologist III functions in a perioperative surgical technologist role under the direction of the circulating Registered Nurse. Able to prioritize, organize and implement care of the surgical patient. Works with Registered Nurse specialist as a clinical resource. Is responsible for supplies/instrumentation and education in areas of expertise. Performs call obligations as assigned.

Graduate of accredited program for surgical technologists.

Meets all standards and competencies for Surgical Technologist II. Demonstrates proficiency in specialty/specialties
