Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled *Heavy Equipment Technicians *in the Lutz area. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of heavy equipment vehicles and machinery. The ideal heavy equipment tech will have experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and computerized diagnostic tools.

_*Responsibilities Include:*_
* Perform diagnostic tests on heavy equipment vehicles and machinery to identify and troubleshoot problems
* Repair and maintain diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements
* Order replacement parts and maintain an inventory of necessary supplies
* Operate computerized diagnostic tools to identify and diagnose problems
* Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
* Provide guidance and training to other technicians as needed
* Follow all safety procedures and protocols
* Document all repairs and maintenance activities accurately and completely
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
* Familiarity with computerized diagnostic tools and equipment
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
