Job Details

Mission Hospital is a 763-bed healthcare facility located in Asheville, North Carolina. The hospital is known for being the region's only Level II trauma center, as well as being home to the only children's hospital in the western portion of the state. Mission Hospital offers a variety of services, including women's services, sports medicine, and neurological care. The hospital's cardiovascular services include the only open heart and interventional cardiology in the region. The on-site Mission Children's Hospital features 97 beds dedicated to infants and children, including a 51-bed Level III NICU. Job Requirements

Candidates must have skills in all areas of DX radiology including portable and OR. Skills in ED trauma imaging are required. Preferred candidates should have skills in fluoroscopic procedures.

Schedule Information

Weekends rotation is required.

Unit Specific Information

Number of Staff – Varies by shift, day or week. Normal 34 FTE in 24-hour period Day Shift – 16 staff Technologists and supervisor Evening Shift – 10 staff Technologists, 2 Student Techs, and supervisor Night Shift - 4 staff technologists, supervisor Type of equipment - All Rad rooms GE, Portable GE and Shiatzu, C-arms OEC, O-arms Medtronics EMR – Cerner Rad Net Typical procedures performed on unit(s) include All Diagnostic imaging, Portable, Trauma, and fluoroscopic, and Surgical Best personality Fit: Team player that can also work alone. Self-motivated individual
