We are seeking a(an) RN Critical Care Float for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. The Float Pool Nurse works in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team to coordinate care from admission to discharge, resulting in quality outcomes, patient safety and high patient satisfaction.The Super Float RN is to perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director in the following departments: Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, Infusion, Stress or PACU.
Provides direct patient care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, all regulatory, facility and unit-specific policy and procedure;
Consults with nursing leadership as needed to achieve desired nursing outcomes;
Provides nursing care in all units
Documents data in electronic records in real time.
Regular, reliable attendance is required to ensure the highest level of patient care
Follows hospital safety and quality standards and expectations, as it pertains to job performance and patient care
Graduate of Professional School of Nursing, BSN or ADN required
~ 2+ years critical care required (ICU, ED, PACU)
