If so, we're looking for someone like you to join our team at APL
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Systems Engineer to help define, design, integrate, test, and evaluate current and future advanced strike weapons systems. As a trusted agent for the Government, we provide full life-cycle systems engineering, modeling and simulation, and analysis of the Nation’s preeminent tactical weapons systems.

- Serve as direct interface between the Government sponsor and APL technical & project management team.
- Work with industry, academic, and Government laboratory staff to identify emerging technologies to advance weapon system capabilities for the warfighter.
- Document analysis/engineering results, prepare reports, and establish material requirements for sponsors. This would include organizing the study team, ensuring quality of technical products, and developing/delivering associated technical briefs.
Qualifications
You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you…

- Have at least five years of relevant experience in systems engineering principles and practices enabling significant contributions and leadership related to tactical weapons systems development.

- Have significant professional experience specific to NAVAIR weapon systems development and acquisition.
- Have prior military experience with tactical weapons planning and deployment.
