Mobility Project, a physical therapist owned, outpatient orthopedic clinic, located in the heart of Tracktown USA (Eugene, OR), seeks an exceptional Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team of professionals.
The physical therapist will be responsible for examining patients to develop a plan of care using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. In addition, the physical therapist will document patient treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required.
Prior experience/certification with Pilates, manual therapy, strength and conditioning, lymphedema therapy or cancer rehabilitation is a plus, but we will gladly provide training and continuing education for the right person without it. New grads are welcome to apply. Work as part of a team to provide physical therapy services to clients and patients
Perform physical therapy examinations including: patient/client history, systems review, and tests and measures to identify potential and existing problems
Implement components of patient/client interventions (treatment), obtain data related to the interventions provided, and make modifications in selected interventions either to progress the patient/client or to ensure patient/client safety and comfort
Focus on providing the highest quality treatment that allows for excellent patient outcomes
Assess patient condition using knowledge of basic anatomy, biomechanics, human physiology and pathology
Instruct patients on physical therapy interventions, modalities and home exercise programs
Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants according to state guidelines
Masters or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
