The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is a Level IV, s tate-of-the-art 17-bed intensive care unit designed to care for newborns with the most complex medical problems. Our dedicated and highly trained nursing staff delivers world-class patient care through an intricate nursing care model that is rooted in evidence-based practice and always puts patients first. Our goal is that all our professional nursing caregivers provide patients with the highest quality, safest care possible.
A caregiver in this position works Day/Night Rotation, 7:00am—7:30pm or 7:00pm—7:30am.

Provide direct nursing care.

~ Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.

~ Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions. 

~ Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

~ Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.

~ One year of current acute care RN experience and/or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience and/or rehab experience and/or Emergency Department (ED) experience required . RNs in Childrens Hospital and Childrens Hospital for Rehabilitation will achieve and maintain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through American Heart Association (AHA) apart from the NICU RNs who must achieve and maintain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) through American Heart Association (AHA) provider status .


Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN).
