*Local/Travel position *

*Pay rate:* $50-53 + stipends for travelers

*Shifts: *from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am or 7:00 am to 7:30 pm

*Contract Length:* 1 year

*Responsibilities: *
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' respiratory conditions, including reviewing medical history, performing physical examinations, and evaluating diagnostic tests.
* Administer respiratory therapy treatments, such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and mechanical ventilation, as prescribed by physicians.
* Provide emergency care, including airway management, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and advanced life support techniques during code situations.
* Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and strategies for managing symptoms and improving respiratory health.
* Set up, operate, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, progress notes, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

*Requirements: *
* Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution.
* 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an ICU, Nursery Neonatal, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, or Emergency/Trauma.
* Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
* RT licensure in AZ is highly preferred.
* CPR/BLS

*Benefits: *
* 2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year of service

Pay: $50.00 - $53.00 per hour
