Help shape the future working with the most advanced radar systems in the industry Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems Sector Test Engineering organization is seeking an Antenna Test Engineer /Principal Antenna Test Engineer for 2ND SHIFT to be an instrumental part of Northrop Grumman's Test Engineering Team in Sykesville, MD . The ideal candidate will also have experience using Matlab to analyze data.
There is a shift differential (higher pay) for 2ND SHIFT.
Antenna test equipment design in support of factory phased array testing
* Test software and test equipment design related to phased array testing in a Nearfield Antenna Range
* Support technicians with troubleshooting and training
* Analyze test data and identify early trends
* Collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements
* Sensitivity to cost, schedule and quality as well as Northrop Grumman policies and procedures is imperative
Additional benefits, including Education Assistance, Training and Development and a 9/80 schedule at many sites.
Bachelor of Science degree or higher in science, engineering, or other STEM-related discipline plus 2 years of experience (0 years with a Masters)
* Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment
* Experience with software, such as C++, C#, MATLAB, etc.
* Department of Defense (DoD) active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to starting
* Ability to work 2ND SHIFT, which starts around 3pm
