In addition, this hospital provides care across the spectrum, from emergency intervention to minor surgical procedures. The Hospital Pharmacist will join an organization with a rich culture and reputation in the community and state. 

The Hospital Pharmacist will report directly to the Inpatient Pharmacy Manager. This person will feel supported by their Manager and the Director of Pharmacy, and will join a fantastic team of experienced pharmacists and techs. The ideal candidate will be licensed in the state of WA and have experience working with IV medications.

The Hospital Pharmacist will assume the responsibility for distributing a variety of IV and other medications to patients throughout the hospital. This involves supervision of other staff, including pharmacy techs and students. In addition, the position requires collaboration with physicians and nurses in regards to problem solving and patient care activities. The Hospital Pharmacist will also be expected to educate patients and other staff for best outcomes. 

The North Peninsula of Washington area is known for being one of America’s very own national wonders. With close vicinity to Olympic National Park, this hospital is close to a multitude of hiking trails and recreational areas, as well as an opportunity for fishing and kayaking if the Hospital Pharmacist is someone who loves nature and the outdoors. This is a prime area to experience some of the best seafood the world has to offer. The downtown area is full of activities for everyone to enjoy, from its delicious restaurants to a quaint hometown feel. It truly feels like you are right at home.
