Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a  Travel RN - PCU/Medical 48's
Shift: Days, 7a-7:30p, 12x4, 48hrs per week, Will also accept 36's, EOW
Length: 13 weeks
Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract
Requirements:

~ IN License 
~2 Years’ Experience
~ Telemetry on unit monitoring
~ BLS
~ ACLS
~ NIH preferred

Other Details:

~ First Time Travelers Accepted
~ Considered local and will be accepted
~Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed 
~ Staffing Ratios: 1:4
~ COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
~ Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Unknown


Skillset Requirements:
IV insulin protocols and Tirtration of insulin drips
Feeding tube care and management
Pre/post hemodialysis management
Blood product administration
Monitoring Chemotherapy
Heparin protocols
Manage cardia drips – no titration
External CPA/BiPAP
High Flow Nasal Cannula
Isolation Precautions
First Time Travelers Accepted
Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12

*** Weekends: Travelers are expected to work every other week per their contract. Pending operational needs, consecutive weekends may be needed based on the greatest need
*** Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
Certification Requirements: ACLS and BCLS; NIH Preferred
Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed 
Staffing Ratios: 1:4
Unit Information: Medical PCU - almost ICU level acuity - multiple cardiac drips. Stable vents. Multi-organ failure, liver failure, pulmonary
