Under the direction of the Vice President of Administration, the Director of Compliance and Quality Assurance has multiple responsibilities to ensure that the compliance and quality of all Programs and Services contracts are met. To assist with the implementation of comprehensive external communication programs to support overall compliance goals and to position the Center for future partnerships.



Develops, initiates, maintains, and revises policies and procedures for the general operation of contract compliance and quality assurance and its related activities as they relate to the Programs and Services department.
Assist with tracking public funding opportunities, maintenance of relationships with funding agencies and assuring that compliance requirements are met.
Maintain contract compliance standards to meet County, City, State and Federal guidelines.
Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; Assist with the implementation of comprehensive external communication programs to support program goals and to position the Center for future partnerships.
Assist with public fund raising, planning and administrative functions.
Assist with the research, writing and preparation of contracts and grants.
Assist staff with the training, writing, and preparation of all contractual reports, program objectives, and budgeting as needed.
Conduct internal audits of systems, files, case track inputs, documentation, and procedures as related to contractual obligations and company Policies.
Develop and implement a contract compliance and quality assurance plan.
Assist with contract and program enhancement and development.
Manage and maintain the Program Department contract compliance standards, as well as contract files.
Conduct quality assurance review sessions with each program on a quarterly basis to ensure goals and objectives are being met.
Perform risk control through a continuous process of identification, analyzation, and treatment of factors that would affect contracts, programs and/or the organization; Research and prepare written reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested to keep management informed of the function and progress of compliance efforts.
Ensure that proposals and grant submissions are timely and meet deadlines.
Assist and monitor community collaborations and partnerships with subcontractors, funders, and external agencies.
Maintain calendar of submission deadlines to guide the scheduling of grants and contracts.
keeping others informed of work progress, timetables and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions; addressing others by name, title or other respectful identifier, and respecting the diversity of our work force in actions, words and deeds.
Excellent writing skills.
Computer proficient.
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exhibits professional manner when interfacing with professional staff, WCA visitors, contractors, vendors and programs and services providers.
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree desired.
Minimum of three (3) years' experience with social service program development, contract compliance and direct client services.
Experience in the delivery of social services to homeless and/or low-income individuals.
Demonstrated abilities in management of multiple projects and priorities essential.
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as defined by CDC.
