Title : Learning & Development Trainer/Technical Instructor Duration : 12+ months Location : Elkridge, MD Job Description: Active DoD Secret clearance required We are looking for a motivated individual tfulfill the role of a Principal Technical Instructor/Senior Principal Technical Instructor tfulfill customer training requirements for electronic systems, sensors, and radars. Roles and Responsibilities Develops/updates training curriculum in accordance with Instructional Systems Design/Systems Approach tTraining and military training standards: Training Program Plan Job Task Analysis Curriculum Outline of Instruction Test Package Lesson Plans Trainee Guides Job Aids Conducts In-Process Reviews Develops Trainee and Training Course Completion Data Becomes proficient with system operation and maintenance tasks Conducts classroom and hands-on training for customer operators and maintainers Travels as necessary (estimated tbe up t25% of the time) tsupport and conduct training activities Interfaces effectively with program and customer personnel taccomplish training tasks Supports Integration & Test tasks at the assembly and System level Basic Qualifications for a Principal Technical Instructor: Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, a Master's degree with 3 years of experience or a Ph.D. with 0 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree U.S. Citizenship is required Minimum of 5 years' experience with maintenance and/or operation of electronic systems, sensors, and radars Successful completion of military curriculum developer courses, military formal school instructor course, or equivalent industry-recognized technical training instructor program Minimum of 3 years' experience in implementation of MIL-PRF-29612 Instructional Systems Design/ Systems Approach tTraining, or equivalent military specification Minimum of 3 years' experience as an instructor of military electronic system maintainers and/or operators Proficient with Microsoft Office Able and willing tperform physically demanding hands-on training tasks in extreme environmental conditions Able and willing ttravel tdomestic and international sites in support of training tasks Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able twork effectively both individually as well as in a team-oriented matrix (IPT) environment Basic Qualifications for a Senior Principal Technical Instructor: Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience, a Master's degree with 7 years of experience or a Ph.D. with 4 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree U.S. Citizenship is required Active DoD Secret clearance required Minimum of 5 years' experience with maintenance and/or operation of electronic systems, sensors, and radars Successful completion of military curriculum developer courses, military formal school instructor course, or equivalent industry-recognized technical training instructor program Minimum of 3 years' experience in implementation of MIL-PRF-29612 Instructional Systems Design/Systems Approach tTraining, or equivalent military specification Minimum of 3 years' experience as an instructor of military electronic system maintainers and/or operators Proficient with Microsoft Office Able and willing tperform physically demanding hands-on training tasks in extreme environmental conditions Able and willing ttravel tCONUS, OCONUS, and foreign destinations in support of training tasks Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able twork effectively both individually as well as in a team-oriented matrix (IPT) environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience as an electronic systems, sensors, or radar crew chief or maintenance chief, or as an operator team leader 8 years' experience with maintenance and/or operation of electronic systems, sensors, and radars Experience as a certified Naval Instructor or Air Force instructor SCORM courseware development, and courseware media development (graphics/audio/HTML5) Thanks & Regards, Praveen Kumar Team Lead - Recruitment Zolon Tech
