Comprehensive Ophthalmologist

Eye Clinic & Laser Institute is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible comprehensive/general Ophthalmologist and an Optometrist with a Florida License to join our practice and set the course for a possible partnership and practice takeover for a retiring Ophthalmologist.

The Ophthalmologist will deliver full-scope ophthalmology including the treatment of eye diseases and surgical co-management opportunities. You will be given the opportunity to perform cataract surgery in your first year at our on-site Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).

We can proudly proclaim that we have the only femtosecond cataract laser in Brevard County Each office provides state-of-the-art equipment such as IOLMaster, Topcon OCT, Humphrey VF, HRT III, Yag/Argon lasers and the VISX LASIK platform. Our surgical center has two operating rooms fully equipped with ceiling-mounted microscopes. We have a Catalys Femtosecond Laser fully accredited by the State and AAAHC. Our staff is very well trained and professional, helping your integration into our practice to be a smooth and productive transition.

The Optometrist must have a Florida License and medical optometry experience. Experienced Optometrists and New Graduates are welcome to apply Ocular disease residency or medical optometry experience is preferred.

Eye Clinic & Laser Institute is a well-known OD practice with a heavy emphasis on medical eye care/surgery including cataract, diabetic eye disease, AMD, and glaucoma. Optometry candidates should be comfortable with pre and post op cataract/LASIK/PRK and have general knowledge of blepharoplasty surgery. Though the majority of the exams are medical, candidates must understand contact lens fitting and refraction. Our practice has OCT with angio, Humphrey visual field, pentacam, and ultrasound.
