Mental Health Technician
***SIGN-ON BONUS FOR PART-TIME POSITIONS: $500.We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Part-Time Mental Health Technician
The Mental Health Technician (MHT) functions as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging in age from preschool through geriatrics depending on which unit worked. Ridgeview Institute has been a staple in the state of Georgia and nationwide for the treatment of both addiction and behavioral health for over 40 years. We provide a comprehensive continuum of mental health and substance abuse treatment services based upon a commitment to excellence and quality care to patients and their loved ones.
Located on a 37-acre wooded campus in the city of Smyrna, GA on the outskirts of Atlanta, Ridgeview Institute provides a safe, caring environment with Psychiatrists, Nurses, Social Workers, Counselors, Activity Therapists and Mental Health Technicians. or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred;
Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, recreational therapy or appropriate therapeutic discipline.
Successful completion CPR/ First Aid certification and CPI training to within 90 days of employment prior to assisting with restraining procedures. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
