Full-Time Ophthalmologist

Clarus Eye Centre is a well-established multi-specialty ophthalmology practice that has been serving the South Puget Sound area as a regional referral center for over 50 years. We are seeking a glaucoma fellowship-trained surgeon (preferred, not required) to join our team to meet our current clinic and surgical needs. Our ideal candidate is a compassionate, ethical, team-oriented, and productive individual with solid skills in both the clinic and OR settings, with an interest in becoming a partner of the practice.

Our clinic provides general and subspecialty ophthalmic care. Our clinic has excellent support staff and state-of-the-art equipment, including an on-site, two-room ASC. Due to continued growth, the practice has the patient demand for a full-time cataract and glaucoma surgeon. Anticipated volume for the new provider is 40-50 clinic patients/day, 60-100 OR cases/month. Majority of surgery is performed in our single specialty ASC.

The area is ideally located between two major metropolitan areas and 50 miles south of a major international airport. Local universities and state government offer good diversity in the community. In addition to no state income tax, being the location of the state capital lends itself to an economically stable environment. The climate is temperate year-round and allows for a myriad of excellent outdoor activities due to the proximity of the Sound, ocean, numerous lakes and mountains.
