CHEMED is seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiologist to join our dynamic healthcare team in Lakewood, NJ. This is an exciting opportunity to be the first cardiologist directly employed by CHEMED, a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services in the region. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality cardiac care to our diverse patient population.
Consultation and Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with primary care physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and integrated patient care.
# Diagnostic Procedures: Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures such as echocardiography, stress tests, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and cardiac catheterizations as needed.
# Treatment Planning: Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, incorporating evidence-based practices and the latest advancements in cardiology.
# Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to promote optimal heart health and disease prevention.
# Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, diagnostic test results, treatment plans, and progress notes.
# Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, clinical processes, and overall patient satisfaction.
# Continuing Education: Stay abreast of developments in the field of cardiology through ongoing professional development, attending conferences, and engaging in scholarly activities.
# Community Engagement: Contribute to community outreach efforts and educational programs focused on cardiovascular health promotion and disease prevention.

Medical Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.
# Board certification in Cardiology from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or equivalent.
# Valid medical license to practice in the state of New Jersey.
# Clinical Experience: Proven experience in clinical cardiology practice, including the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases.
# Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with patients, colleagues, and staff members.
# Dedication to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care with a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in clinical practice.
