Shift: Days, 7a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Holiday Expectations: Holidays are rotated between call teams; all holidays are on call rotations.
Requirements:

SD License 
Must have 1.5 years of experience
Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
BLS
ACLS
PALS
Other Details:

Skills required: May be learned in orientation, but competencies include: IV insertion, ventilator training, epidural/PCA set up/initiation, initiation of blood product transfusions, competency with administration and monitoring of moderate sedation (will not work Intra-op in Endo but would prep and recover), critical thinking
Charting System/Equipment: EPIC
Patient Types: Infants-Geriatric patient population 
Patient Ratios: RN: Pre-Op 1:2, PACU 1:1 or 1:2, Phase 2 1:1-
Routinely: PreOp, PACU, Endo prep and discharge, Phase 2
Beds: 13 Pre-Op, 15 PACU, 6 Phase 2 Recovery
Units: PreOp-PACU
