This is a fast pace environment that requires critical thinking, teamwork and good communication between staff and patients and we are looking for a Registered Nurse to help with BBHH's vision of providing that excellent care and striving to be the best hospital we can be.
Someone who demonstrates sound leadership skills and utilizes these skills in organizing the activities and schedules for medical and/or non-medical tasks of the Child, Adolescent and Adult for a given shift;
A caring, compassionate human being with a record of consistently high quality clinical and interpersonal skills to be an exemplary role model to others;
A person with basic knowledge of abnormal psychology as typically found in the child or adolescent psychiatric population, application of this knowledge to child, adolescent or adult knowledge of medical terminology, especially those terms associated with child, adolescent or adult psychiatric care;
Someone with thorough familiarity of psych pharmacy and the use of psychotropic medications with child, adolescent or adult psychiatric population, basic teaching and training skills helpful; HUMANS WHO CARE
If you have previous experience in a mental healthcare hospital environment where your attention was focused on human behavior, psychiatry, psychology, or other mental healthcare situations, your application to this position will be moved to the shortlist of candidates.

Additionally, you'll complete a "Handle-With-Care" Physical Restraint Technique Training during your orientation so that you know how and when to engage when such an event occurs.
You should know that this position operates on an Alternate Work Schedule of 12 hour shifts from 6pm to 6am.
38 per hour based on the experience you bring with you and whether you've been an RN for 1 year or 50 years, your offer letter COMES WITH A $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS if you're selected
