Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is a physician-led practice affiliated with Hartford HealthCare, Connecticut's finest full-spectrum health care system. With 250 physicians and advanced practitioners offering Primary Care, Urgent Care, Walk-in services, and more than 30 different specialties in over 60 offices, we enjoy an excellent reputation with patients and the medical community, and best-in-class operations and business management.
The APP will work in an ambulatory setting. Patient management will include new patient consults, short- and long-term post-operative follow up, and coordination of patient care across multiple disciplines. In-office procedures will include skin and soft tissue mass excision and some complex wound care. This opportunity will require working in our main office in Glastonbury and multiple satellite offices potentially including Hartford, Enfield, Farmington, Manchester, South Windsor and Bloomfield. On call coverage may be required in addition to covering post op follow ups of emergency general surgery patients. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with system quality initiatives.
Shift: Monday through Friday - Hours: TBD

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Master’s program preferred
· Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as an ambulatory Nurse Practitioner
· Clinical experience in surgery, weight management, or nutritional services strongly preferred
