PeaceHealth is a well-established financially stable multi-specialty provider group looking for a Pediatric Hospitalist physician interested in a Full-time opportunity and to BE A PART OF THE EXCITING FUTURE OF PEACEHEALTH.
Physician will be responsible for care of children admitted to PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center in Springfield, Oregon. We have a dedicated 16 bed pediatric unit in a beautiful, modern facility completed in 2008. We have a Level 3 NICU with 24 hour coverage by Neonatologists. Attendance at high risk deliveries is provided by a resuscitation team and Neonatologist. Pediatrician does cover some admits to NICU for intensive observation or level 2 acuity neonates.
Telemedicine consultation is available 24 hours with PICU. Credentialing for moderate sedation is required. Attendance at weekly hospital case conference is expected. Weekend coverage averages 1-2 weekends/month. Night call is required.
