The Dispatcher assumes responsibility for all Ag Chem/Fertilizer orders from customers and the sales team and handles all shipments of incoming Ag Chem/Fertilizer. This position is also responsible for managing Ag Chem/Fertilizer plant employees in the absence of the warehouse manager.
 
Receives Ag Chem/Fertilizer orders from customers, the sales team and custom applicators.
Schedules Helena's trucks for shipment of Ag Chem/Fertilizer to customers.
Prepares scale tickets to ship fertilizer.
Prepares delivery tickets and blend tickets.
Assists the branch administrative assistant on collection documents, backing up computers and other clerical duties.
Two years of work experience in the agriculture field is required.
Other skills that will help you succeed
Proficient with computer skills and spreadsheet software.
The work environment for this position may require the employee to work in an outdoor setting in all types of weather conditions with exposure to outdoor elements. When working outdoors and possibly around moving equipment/mechanical parts, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemical and biological hazards, vibrations and a risk of electrical shock.
