*Experienced Automotive Title Clerk Job Duties and Responsibilities*

* Process Retail and Wholesale Title work
* Familiar with NJ Car
* Examine vehicle title for accuracy and conformity to specified requirements
* Verify acceptance of the title in the state for which it is filed
* Confirm accurate VIN number, odometer reading and releases of liens and that titles contain no alterations
* Follow up on customer payoffs.
* Resolve titling issues through interaction with customers, dealers, and regulatory agencies
* Maintain knowledge of current DMV regulations as they relate to vehicle titles and interpret titling regulations in each state for which the vehicles are processed
* Run outstanding title reports, review, and contact sellers regarding outstanding titles
* Perform other duties as assigned by management

* Strong computer skills
* Dealer Track DMS experience preferred
* Strong work ethic and self-motivation
* Valid driver’s license with good driving record
* One year of title clerk experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
