Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our correctional team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings and possess a strong skill set in critical care, acute pain management, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment, and self-care techniques
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient care activities

Requirements:

- Valid RN license in the state of Illinois
- Minimum of 1 years of nursing experience as an RN
- Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively

Shift: 3pm-11pm with Thursday/Friday off or Monday/Tuesday off

Pay: $75/hr (taxed + nontaxed)

$3,000 weekly gross based on 40 hours

Duration: 13 weeks
